This course will be taught via Zoom.

Many provisions may be listed in a divorce decree, but how do income, expenses, and tax stipulations stemming from divorce affect your tax return? In this course we'll explore the impacts divorce may have on various tax situations. Topics include taxation of income (e.g., alimony), distributions from retirement funds, and property settlements, as well as claiming dependency of children and associated tax credits.
