Join us for this new course and learn how to identify trees, shrubs, and wildflowers. As we explore the various forest types of the Smokies, we'll discover the great diversity of flora for which the Smokies is famous. We'll also discuss how elevation affects forest type, plant ecology, natives versus non-natives, and the future of our trees. Please come prepared for a short hike as we take to the trail from low to high elevation.
You must be 18 or older to register for and attend a Smoky Mountain Field School course.
