Join retired park botanist Janet Rock and Smokies hiking and field guide author/editor Steve Kemp for an exploration of higher elevation late spring wildflowers in North Carolina. We'll discover beautiful wildflowers and woody vines you often don't see on the usual Tennessee spring wildflower trails. This is a 4.7-mile shuttle hike along the top of Thomas Divide and down into the incredibly rich coves of Kanati Fork.
You must be 18 or older to register for and attend a Smoky Mountain Field School course.
