Most people who want to write a book don't know where to start. In this course, publishers Debbie Patrick and Jody Dyer provide an overview of the publishing industry, the four phases of publishing, and the challenges and rewards of getting a book into print. You'll receive a firm direction on getting a writing project started and finished. You'll also learn about research, writing habits, first drafts, revisions, editing, proofreading, design and layout, and marketing the finished product.

Student praise for this course: "Debbie Patrick was delightful and shared great practical application. I learned a lot and will return to future sessions she and Jodie Dyer deliver. Thanks for offering their courses!"
