Moreover, every author must decide how his or her book will be delivered to the public-to self-publish, to use a hybrid publisher, or to seek a traditional publishing contract. This course outlines the critical steps of editing, proofreading, and book design as well as the pros and cons or publishing options. You'll receive printed guides and worksheets to help you make decisions and meet your goals.

Jody Dyer
Jody Dyer, owner of Knoxville-based Crippled Beagle Publishing, coaches authors of all experience levels through the writing process, from idea to published work. Dyer earned a bachelor's degree in finance at the University of Tennessee and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction at Lincoln Memorial University.
