Photography Certificate
The Non-Credit UT Photography Program provides fundamental and specialty skills for achieving success in photography and related professions. Explore your interest in photography as a hobby or for professional growth and development.
Developed by a committee of Knoxville-area photographers, these courses provide the opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing skills in this rapidly changing field.
Courses may be taken by students who are not in the certificate program.
To qualify for the UT Photography Certificate program, candidates must complete the following requirements:
1) Successfully complete Fundamentals of Digital Photography I.
2) Successfully complete photography elective courses to achieve a total of 160 class hours which includes Fundamentals of Digital Photography I.
3) Complete the certificate in three years.
4) A minimum of 75 percent attendance is required for all certificate candidates.
Certificate candidates should fill out the required Certificate Request Form.
