Come spend a day in the Smokies to learn some basic techniques and skills of being a nature photographer, to enhance and build upon your current skills, and for the pure enjoyment of participating in this creative outlet. You will learn to compose pictures of beautiful landscapes, wildflowers, and wildlife, while enhancing your skills of observation and your enjoyment of the natural world. We’ll begin with some classroom instruction, followed by time spent outdoors seeking photographic and learning opportunities

You must be 18 or older to register for and attend a Smoky Mountain Field School course.

Smoky Mountain Field School instructor Liz Domingue is a naturalist, guide, nature photographer, and environmental educator. Through photography, observation, and research, she has studied wildlife, plants, and the natural world throughout the United States and abroad.
