Stand-Up Comedy: A Crash Course

Immerse yourself in the world of comedy and receive the tools necessary to begin a career as a stand-up comedian. We'll discuss the types of comedy, comedians, and shows available as well as the business side of stand-up. You'll learn how to write your own material and expand your ideas into stage-ready jokes and sets and discover essential performance techniques and tools for interacting with your audience. This course includes hands-on instruction, workshops, and opportunities to perform live at various locations in Knoxville.
