In this energetic course you’ll experience and immerse yourself in the hit dance style that became popular during the early 20th century. East Coast Swing, with its fun, lively, and upbeat circular motions, is one of the easiest to learn and master. Together we’ll learn and enjoy this versatile swing that can be danced to most forms of music, from the big bands of the 1940s to Elvis Presley to today’s hottest tunes.
This course requires a partner, and registration is $99 per person.

Tony DeDominick
Tony DeDominick has been teaching dance courses for UT Non-Credit Programs for over 30 years. He received his master's degree in mathematics and physical education from the University of Tennessee. He currently teaches a for-credit dance class at Maryville College and gives private dance lessons.
Faye Hacker
Faye Hacker is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where she took several dance classes, including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and ballroom. She has been a dance instructor for several ballroom dance studios and has participated in numerous competitions and showcases. Faye takes great pleasure in teaching students an exciting, fun, and healthy skill that they can enjoy throughout their lives.
