Join us for the UT Photography Weekend and go beyond the technical side of photography to create images that capture a sense of place for the subject or scene. At each location we visit, your instructor will challenge you to capture what you feel, not just what you see. This will be accomplished by identifying and isolating the subject and then composing it within the image's frame to effectively impact the viewer. Your instructor will work with you individually to help you learn how to improve your photography skills. You'll have an opportunity to take evening cityscape images in Knoxville, visit the Ft. Loudoun State Historic Park in Vonore, Tennessee, and visit Great Smoky Mountains National Park. A final class session will be used for critiquing each person's images from the previous weekend.
