Spanish for Beginners I
Spanish is one of the easiest foreign languages for an English speaker to learn for several reasons, including the existence of cognates between the two and because Spanish has far less grammatical irregularities than other foreign tongues. Explore the language for yourself and discover if you have an aptitude for learning languages. You’ll learn basic grammar and vocabulary, common phrases, and useful expressions. We’ll also emphasize speaking skills and briefly study the written language. Required textbook: Madrigal’s Magic Key to Spanish.
Spanish for the Beginners II
Prerequisite: Spanish for Beginners I In this continuation course you’ll begin to grasp the Spanish language even better, understand the practicality of knowing Spanish, and discover the satisfaction of speaking a second language. You’ll learn more grammar, vocabulary, common phrases, and useful expressions. Required textbook: Madrigal’s Magic Key to Spanish.

If you have previously taken courses with us, check your Registration History to see if any of your past courses meet the prerequisites.
